Fifty Point Conservation Area

Located along the wonderous and beautiful Lake Ontario is the equally beautiful Fifty Point Conservation Area, part of the Hamilton Conservation Authority. Just a 25-minute drive from downtown Hamilton, this 80-hectare park is the perfect gathering place for families or couples wanting to enjoy camping-related activities or just a relaxing afternoon picnic.

The dock, which can hold up to 340 boats, is rated one of the best on Western Lake Ontario and the fishing scene isn’t bad either. Fishers can expect to catch salmon, rainbow trout, carp, northern pike, and smallmouth and largemouth bass in these waters, though the pond within the conservation area is no longer stocked.
